As your photographer my job is to simply notice and memorialize all the details, great + small. The stunning lace of the bride's dress, the look of surprise and overwhelming love on the groom's face when he first sees his bride, the beauty of the rings and the meaning they hold, the contagious joy, the tenderness of the first kiss.

My goal is always to capture my clients in their truest, best light. What that means for you + me is that I take care of lighting, (for portrait sessions I will help you choose outfits + scout the location ahead of time) set you up in the scene, and then direct you like we're shooting a movie. This makes for incredibly authentic, joyful, and warm photos that celebrate your connection to those you love most and bring you back to the joy of the moment each and every time you look at them.
My light + airy delivered images evoke a nostalgia for film warmth, grain, and tone, while still taking advanage of the incredible technology of modern cameras. I am passionate about color theory and keeping skin tones accurate.
I have a deep love for a crisp black and white and will include some in every gallery.
THE PROCESS
I. Book the date
Start by filling out the contact form. Once I receive your inquiry we'll schedule a time to talk about your needs, love story, vision + I'll answer all your questions. If I'm the photographer for you, we'll get you officially booked for your date with a returned contract and a deposit and begin building your timeline, scheduling your engagement session, etc
II. Take photos
Yay, your Wedding Day is here! At this point, all our hard work and planning has paid off. We've already built your timeline, created a family formal shot list + made sure to establish what's most important to YOU. All that's left to do is to be present and enjoy every moment.
III. Deliver memories
Within 1 week of your wedding day, you will receive sneak peeks via email. Within 8-12 weeks, your custom, beautiful images will have all been lovingly hand-crafted into lifelong memories and will arrive to you via online gallery and/or USB drive depending on the wedding package you choose.

FAQ
How would you describe your style?
As an artist, I have always had a deep love for images that have a warmth to them, both visually and emotionally. If I look at my work and it doesn't evoke an emotion, I haven't done my job. My aim is always to capture my clients in any given moment in the most beautiful, flattering way possible, take advantage of good light while supplementing with balanced flash as needed, direct scenes like a movie director would, and let the magic unfold while happily capturing every bit of goodness.
I lean heavily towards a light and airy film look, with a bit of grain + warmth, and I adore a good black + white. I almost always include a color version of these photos as well.
Where are you based / do you travel?
I am based in Oakdale, CA in the Central Valley and YES I do offer travel for an additional fee. We always joke that it's two hours from everywhere: the bay area, the mountains, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, the Coast. Nothing is out of reach for us.
What is the booking process like?
To officially book with me and lock in your date, I take a non-refundable deposit and the signed contract. Wedding deposits are 30%, Portrait session deposits (Engagement, Family, etc) are 50%. Your date is not secured until the contract is signed and the deposit is received.
How quickly will our photos be delivered?
Weddings will be delivered within 8 weeks, Portrait sessions will be delivered within 2 weeks.
How many photos are included?
For Weddings, expect to receive 400+ curated, edited images. For Portrait sessions (60 min), my clients receive 60+ curated, edited images.
Can we reschedule Portrait Sessions for weather?
Portraits: I definitely understand that winter in Northern CA can be unpredictable with rain and fog. I am always keeping an eye on the forecast and depending on your needs will text you the morning of if I think we need to reschedule. For my more adventurous clients, photos in the rain are an all time favorite and I will NEVER say no. :)
Do you photoshop bodies?
No, and I promise you don't need it. My brand is based off the real + beautiful -- moments, people, emotions. Come as you are, let me put you in your best light and allow the generations to come to enjoy what we've created. Small imperfections like a zit will be removed, I got you.
What happens if we cancel or reschedule?
Each deposit paid and contract signed is only viable for that date. If you officially book a date (deposit + signed contract) and then cancel, a new deposit + contract will need to be paid/ signed for the date you wish to reschedule on. I require deposits to keep my schedule locked in and therefore best serve ALL my clients, as well as preserve family time. Please understand that if you book and then cancel, that date would likely have been booked by someone else and that is why the deposit is non-refundable.
Do you give out raw files or unedited files?
I do not. My clients hire me to deliver a stunning body of work documenting one of the most beautiful days of their lives. Hours and hours are spent on the other side of that day to perfect + deliver the finished product.
